Justice Rabindranath Pyne

Justice Rabindra Nath Pyne, B.A., (Hons.), Barrister-at-law - Born on 28th September, 1928. Educated at Hindu School and Presidency College, Calcutta. Enrolled Advocate, Calcutta High Court in May, 1954. Practised on the Original Side dealing with Commercial Company, Arbitration, Constitutional, Customs and Central Excise matters. Was also in the panel of Central Government Advocates. appointed Additional Judge, Calcutta High Court from 6th March, 1974. Appointed permanent Judge on 16.4.1975. Appointed as Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court on 20.5.1985. Due to retire on 8.10.1990.
