Justice Sudershan Kumar Misra

Justice Sudershan Kumar Misra, B.A.(Hon.) History, Delhi University, LL.B from Faculty of Law, Delhi University - Born on 7th September 1954. Educated at Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi and Hindu College, Delhi. Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi on 19th October 1978. Was part-time Lecturer in Law at Law Centre-I and Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi; Central Government Standing Counsel at the Delhi High Court from December 1985 to December 1989. Designated as Sr. Advocate in 1994. Was on the “Group A” panel of Sr. Advocates for the Central Government in the Supreme Court of India and on the panel of Sr. Advocates for the Central Government at the Delhi High Court, besides being engaged as a special counsel by various departments/ agencies from time to time, such as UPSC, NEIPA, DVB, CBSE, MCD, etc. Practised at the Delhi High Court, Supreme Court of India, MRTP Commission, DRT, CAT, and other Tribunals. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court on 4th July 2007 and as a permanent Judge on 07.11.2008. Retired on 06.09.2016.
