LL.M. from Mumbai University (2000-Human Rights &Environmental Law)
A.C.A. (Chartered Accountancy) (1979) 
Enrolment at the Bar, High Court of Madras: 1975- Joined the chambers of (late) Mr.K.Srinivasan,Sr.Advocate. Practised in revenue laws, taxation (direct and indirect),foreign exchange laws,Company cases, matrimonial cases etc. before Tribunal and High Courts.

Joined the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Ministry of Law & Justice in 1991 and posted in Calcutta(1991-1997), Mumbai(1997-2004), Delhi (2004-2008), Bangalore (2008-2009), Ahmedabad (till November 2009) and again at Mumbai till elevation to Delhi High Court on 17th October, 2011. 
Promoted as Vice President in January 2005, as Senior Vice-President in November 2009 and as President of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal with effect from 4th June, 2010.
Retired on 28.04.2014.
