Justice Ram Prakash Gupta

Justice Ram Praksh Gupta, B.A., LL.B. - Born on 1.12.1937. Entered Judicial Service in November, 1965 in the erstwhile join Punjab State and worked as Subordinate Judge-cum-Registrar during 1965 to 1969. In 1969 joined Delhi Judicial Servie as Subordinate Judge and was absorbed therein in 1971. Worked as Sub-Judge Ist Class. Additional Rent Controller, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate and as Presiding Officer, Labour Court. Appointed as Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Delhi and worked as such till 24.3.1979. Appointed District & Sessions Judge in March, 1979. Appointed as an Additional Judge of Calcutta High Court on 16.12.1994. Transferred to Madhya Pradesh High Court on 6.5.96. Appointed as permanent Judge on 21.12.1995.
