Justice V B Bansal

Justice Bansal Vidya Bhushan, B.A., LL.B - Born on 01.10.1935. Enrolled as a Pleader on 20.08.1958 at Ambala (Haryana) and practised till joining P.C.S (Judicial) as a Sub-Judge at Delhi on 28.02.1961. He worked as Sub-Judge at Delhi, Rohtak, Sirsa, and Kulu till 02.05.1967. He worked as Administrative sub-Judge at Delhi from May 1967 to November 1970 and from 1970 to November 1973 as Under Secretary (Law and Judicial) Delhi Administration. He also worked as Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Senior Subordinate Judge from November 1973 to January 1975. He was promoted to the Delhi Higher Judicial Service on 29.09.1975. He worked as Registrar Delhi High Court from May 1987 to May 1988. He also worked as District and Sessions Judge Delhi since May 1988. He was appointed as a Judge in the Delhi High Court on 27.04.1989. He expired on 23.11.1994.
